Monterey-Salinas Transit will provide free bus service to the California International Airshow on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 28 th, 29 th and 30th, 2007. Airshow attendees can avoid traffic hassles plus parking and gas expense by riding the free service from Northridge Shopping Center in Salinas or Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey.

In addition to free rides to the event, MST will provide complimentary bus service on all MST fixed routes for California International Airshow ticket holders September 28 th through 30th, 2007.

From Northridge Shopping Center, Line 48 Salinas-Airport Business Center provides continuous service to and from Salinas Airport Business Center and Northridge Mall approximately every 20 minutes. On Friday service runs from 4:00 p.m. until the show ends. On Saturday and Sunday service runs from 9:00 a.m. until the show ends. The bus may be boarded at JC Penney’s bus stop or Northridge special parking lot area near Bank of America.

From Del Monte Shopping Center, Line 56 Monterey-Memorial Hospital departs at 3:40 p.m. on Friday and at 9:10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. After the show ends on Friday at approximately 9:00 p.m. a return trip departs from the Airshow to Del Monte Center and Monterey Transit Plaza. On Saturday and Sunday the return trip to Del Monte Center and Monterey Transit Plaza departs at approximately 4:00 p.m. after the show ends. The bus may be boarded on Pearl Street at the Monterey Transit Plaza or Del Monte Center at MST’s inbound main stop by Macy’s lower level.
